Holly’s Beauty Supply is a beauty store in Lake county, Florida.
How I contributed:
• Created the loyalty program from scratch, leading to greater customer satisfaction and serving over a thousand customers
• Worked various roles, including cashier, customer service (facilitating the shopping experience), organizer, and lister, listing thousands of dollars’ worth of product on eBay.
• Designed custom software for the customer facing interface, enabling customers to view prices of items purchased on a screen customized to fit the business.
• Implemented the existing POS system singlehandedly for multiple of the stores’ locations, which have handle five figures a month.
More About Me
During my time here, I called dozens of distributors and suppliers in order to get product information, and while not working on the POS system did general retail work around the store, such as organizing, pricing, cleaning (such as organizing the employee only area)

Why did I stop working here?
I stopped working in November, gaining new employment as a substitute teacher for Orange County Public Schools through kelly Education, allowing me to impact a great number of people.
Why did I work here?
I knew the owner from before and wanted to help set up the online business. When I learned that an online store was not the priority I pivoted to facilitate other more high priority processes, such as the POS system.
How long did you work here?
I started contact around February 2024, but my actual one site work began may 2024 (around graduating high school) and ended in November.
What do you view of your time here?
The experiences I had here have forever changed who I am, and I know now that I am capable of finishing whatever task I set out to do, even if it’s getting 100,000+ products into a POS system.
